Roasted-Brussels-Sprouts

My mom used to make frozen Brussels Sprouts. She’d boil the heck out of them. I couldn’t stand them. Now I roast them and love them. Especially our frozen Brussels Sprouts.

What I do is toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a cookie sheet with thinly sliced onion and roast at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes. Then, I toss them with my Special Sauce.

I couldn’t believe it worked so well. I am the buyer for Field Goods so I have to try everything we send to our customers. I have to say that I think I had Brussels Sprouts PTSD, but I faced my fear and no more.

Mix together about 2 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of Bragg (you can use soy sauce instead but use less) and 1 tsp of olive oil. I change up the amount of the ingredients depending on if I am feeling salty or sweet…wink wink.

Bragg Liquid Aminos is an alternative to Soy and Tamari sauce. It tastes similar to soy sauce but much milder and much less salty (contains about 1/2 the sodium). You can purchase it a Field Goods.
