Trusted Harvest – Cutting it Fresh for You

On a typical day in the Trusted Harvest kitchen you’ll find Chef Sam Ullman and his team furiously preparing pre-cut produce products, for delivery to their customers early the next day. Trusted Harvest’s pre-cut products are washed, inspected, and cut by hand. What makes Trusted Harvest products so much better than other pre-cut produce? First, its freshness. Produce begins losing nutrients once cut. With Trusted Harvest, you are guaranteed the freshest and healthiest produce. Second is food safety. Small batches and rigorous safety standards ensure your food is safe. Trusted Harvest employees 20 people and is committed to buying seasonal produce from small local and regional farms, creating jobs and supporting sustainable agriculture.

Trusted Harvest creates unique products specially for Field Goods, so in addition to popular standards like zucchini noodles and cauliflower rice, we can offer sliced purple and green daikon and butternut squash noodles… if we can think it up they can make it.

This week we have fresh cauliflower rice. All the rage among the low-carb crowd as an alternative to rice and pasta, it’s also incredibly versatile. You can whip up a dinner or side dish by combining with sautéed vegetables and adding spices or cheese. Really busy? Just sauté with olive oil for 3 to 5 minutes and you are good to go.

Chef Sam created a few recipes for us. Check them out and let us know what you think!
