Anything But Boring: White Button Mushrooms

White Button Mushrooms may be the most commonly grown and purchased mushrooms in the United States. But that doesn’t mean you should pass on these guys! White Buttons are some of the best mushrooms for retaining flavor, and are far more forgiving with recipes than other wild mushrooms.

Prep them for stews, stir-fries, soups, and salads, or add some texture and flavor to your meat, sauce, and bread dishes. Grill, sauté, marinate, or skewer. There’s so much that can be done with these little white caps!

These are the perfect mushrooms for testing out any new recipe. Try out this Garlic Mushrooms in Butter Sauce, the Best Ever Mushroom Soup, or Sautéed Button Mushrooms in White Wine Sauce. We’re excited to see what you dish up!
